Mission and Beliefs

Caribbean School is a multicultural school located in the Spanish-speaking city of Ponce. The school fosters an appreciation of Puerto Rican heritage and serves as a bridge between cultures.  Caribbean School offers a college preparatory program comparable to schools in the United States with instruction in the English language and a special emphasis on the teaching and learning of Spanish. Committed to academic excellence, the Caribbean School community develops independent learners and creative thinkers who become successful, caring, global citizens.

Caribbean School Believes

Mission Information

Caribbean School’s mission statement was revised by the Planning Team during the months of October and November in the year 2005.  Caribbean School’s Board of Directors approved the revised mission statement and beliefs in March, 2006.  A framed mission statement has been placed in every classroom and a large mission statement sign has been placed at the entrance of the parking lot to communicate our mission to the school community.
