Make a Bequest

By entering a bequest in a Will one can have meaningful and lasting impact on current and future generations at Caribbean.

Most common modalities of bequests are:

  • specific – an amount of cash, bank and savings, life insurance, retirement funds, and mutual funds.
  • percentage – a stated percentage of your estate
  • residual – all of the remainder or a portion of your estate after specific and general bequests is distributed.

You can leave a bequest to Caribbean School by adding a codicil to your current Will or by drafting a new Will. Always seek advice from a solicitor!

The following wording may be adapted for inclusion on your will:

"I bequeath to Caribbean School  …...% of my Estate, the residue of my Estate or the sum of $ …………, free of all duties and deductions, to be applied for (either) the purposes of the School in such manner as the School may determine (or) the following purpose - describe your vision here. I direct that the receipt of Caribbean School shall be a good and sufficient discharge to my Trustee(s)."
