PART 2  -  TENTATIVE
CARIBBEAN SCHOOL, 2010-2011 SCHOOL YEAR CALENDAR
(subject to alterations and additions)

December 2010:
Friday, December 3 – All in-class testing in the Secondary School ends.
Thursday, December 9 – Last day of classes before Winter Break for students in the Secondary School.
December 3 – 9 - Computer or Continental Spanish exams or student computer or Continental Spanish presentations during this week.
Friday, December 10 – Secondary Exam Study day for students in the Secondary School at home or students can come in to meet with teachers for help.
Friday, December 17 – All Grade 12 grades for the semester (i.e. quarter grades, exam grades, and first semester grades) must be completed and sent by all teachers of Grade 12 classes to the Edline system before you may leave work today.
Wednesday, January 12 – Absolute deadline (7:45 to 8:30 AM) for all grades for all other classes, Pre-K to 11, for the semester (i.e. quarter grades, exam grades, and first semester grades, as appropriate) to be completed and sent by all teachers to the Edline system.

May, 2011:
May 12 – 18 - Computer or Continental Spanish exams or student computer or Continental Spanish presentations during this week.
Friday, May 13 – End of Year Performances, grades Pre-K – 6.
Friday, May 13 – All in-class testing in the Secondary School ends.
Wednesday, May 18 – End of Year Ceremony, all school, 1:30 PM.
Wednesday, May 18 – End of marking period for Secondary School.
Thursday and Friday, May 19 – 20 – Secondary Exam study days at home or students can come in to meet with teachers for help.
Friday, May 20 – End of marking period for grade 6, full day of classes.
Friday, May 20 – Kindergarten graduation in the morning.
Monday, May 23 to Friday, May 27 – Secondary School Exam Days.
Monday, May 23 – End of marking period for grades 1 – 5, full day of classes.  Last day for students grades 1 to 5.
Tuesday, May 24 – Grade 6 graduation in the morning.
Wednesday, May 25 – Grade 8 graduation in the evening.
Thursday, May 26 – Grade 12 graduation in the evening.
Friday, May 27 – Official last day for any remaining students, dismissal at 11:00 AM.  Dismissal for teachers and staff during the afternoon.
