Goals

In order to offer an individualized academic program within a total learning environment, the Caribbean School has established the following objectives:

 1. To provide a firm curriculum in all subjects.
 2. To improve basic skills in language, arts, literature, mathematics, science, and the social studies.
 3. To develop and refine written and oral communication skills.
 4. To develop an appreciation for learning.
 5. To develop and enhance creative talents, reasoning abilities, and critical thinking skills.
 6. To instill productive work and study habits in preparation for advanced levels of learning.
 7. To recognize, appreciate, and develop individual interests, potential strengths, and capabilities to the fullest.
 8. To enhance the curriculum by providing extracurricular activities and community involvement.
 9. To promote the development of activities which meet the physical and recreational needs of the student.
10. To guide students toward understanding, respect, and appreciation of cultural diversity and values.

Our curriculum offers a challenging academic environment. The educational program aims to help students engage in active learning with an emphasis on critical thinking and problem solving skills, allowing students to participate in a diverse variety of instructional methods. We are committed to a curriculum which includes specific activities for developing the cognitive, emotional, physical, and academic growth of our students.
