The Caribbean School Board of Directors is the
governing and policymaking body of the School within the corporation and
its members serve without remuneration. The Board of Directors will be
composed of not more than twelve members of which there will be nine
elected Directors serving three year terms, staggered so that three of
their members are elected each year for a three-year term. Board members
elected at the annual corporation meeting will take office on the first
Board meeting in July. The Board of Directors fix and determine the
tuition and school fees.
The Headmaster, who is appointed by the Board of Directors, acts as the
chief executive of the school and is responsible for managing the
institution on a daily basis. The Headmaster reports directly to the
Board and is an ex-officio, non-voting member of the board.
The Comptroller is responsible for the financial management of the
school. He assists the Headmaster in the preparation and administration
of the annual budget, supervises personnel and business office
procedures, prepares financial statements and reports and supervises
purchasing for the entire school.
The Elementary School and the Middle and High School Principals, report to
the Headmaster and are responsible for the overall supervision of the
academic, extracurricular and disciplinary programs. They also supervise
and evaluate their faculty, prepare master schedules and plans,
organize, and supervise all activities of their levels.
Middle and High School Academic Departments are made up of teachers who
teach the same discipline.
